About Noah's Inn Tylden
The original “Noah's Ark Inn”, on the intersection in Tylden, was known as the 7 mile stop, equally distant from Woodend, Kyneton and Trentham.
Built by Noah and Elizabeth Turner in the 1860’s it serviced the flood of diggers on the way to the goldfields.
The 1937 fires very nearly destroyed the old Inn and it was rebuilt with its distinctive art-deco facade. Closing as a local watering hole in 1970 it became a residence, nursery and art gallery/studio.
Now owned and operated by Terri and Chris Marion, a gallery/café during the day, and restaurant/bar of an evening. To once again provide comfort for those of the region and travellers passing through.
Noah's Inn Tylden is open 7 days from 11:00am till late.
Noah's is also available for Weddings, re-unions and Private functions.
The Junction Room is available for meetings, small conferences or simply as your occasional office space.
